Air & Sea Show: Honoring Our U.S. Veterans

Inside good care of Mickey Markoff, the environment and Sea Show was obviously a familiar sight on Fort Lauderdale beach for 13 years. It ended its run in 2007 and apparently enough people missed it in the past 2 yrs to warrant going back engagement. It really is being revived and the new version is going to be called Air Lauderdale Beach Fest.

Dates for your new show are set for April 24 and 25 of 2010. They were announced yesterday by local businessmen and new promoters, Stan Smith and Steve Savor. Most significant obstacles the Town of Fort Lauderdale had with this event was the expense of donning the big event. Smith and Savor have agreed to pick up all related costs including police and clean up. There may be nominal fee to wait case.

Air and Sea show will coincide with Fleet Week and provide a 10 day tribute to our nation’s military. The big event traditionally brought a huge selection of thousands of people to beaches of Fort Lauderdale to view an amazing display of sea maneuvers and air power. It’s nice to see how the popular event will probably be returning. It absolutely was missed.

“This might be one of the neatest events, one of several funnest events you can put on,” Mayor Jack Seiler said.” …..Really for that community it gives us an opportunity to, one, honor the military and show our appreciation for the military. Additionally, it brings town together as a family, as friends, to celebrate for the beach. The impact we need it to have today is to use this economy, it’ll be tremendous to own crowds back on Fort Lauderdale beach.
